We will kick off Day of Action on June 9th at 8:00 a.m. with breakfast at the Dexheimer Shelter located at Cosmo Park.
At 8:30 a.m., Heart of Missouri United Way will welcome all volunteers and then we will hear remarks from Ric Ransom, MU Health Care’s Chief Executive Officer, and Kip Kendrick, Presiding Boone County Commissioner.
We will then hold a Give 5 graduation ceremony for nine individuals that completed our Give 5 volunteer program.
The Chamber of Commerce will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony for the first annual Day of Action!
Day of Action volunteers can pick up relevant materials (i.e., gloves, bags, maps, t-shirts) while at the Dexheimer Shelter. Breakfast will conclude by 9:00am.
