Leadership Circle & Alexis de Tocqueville
The national United Way Alexis de Tocqueville Society was founded in 1984 in order to deepen the understanding, commitment, and support of United Way’s most generous and community-minded investors. Locally, Bo Fraser, Ann and Stan Kroenke, Greg and Virginia Mattli, Dan Stubler, and an anonymous donor established our Society in 1999.

Pacesetters
Pacesetters are local companies and partner agencies that commit to completing early, high-performing fundraising campaigns for Heart of Missouri United Way. This prestigious group sets the pace early for the overall community campaign and motivates other companies to take initiative in raising funds to address needs in our community.
During the 2021 community campaign, Pacesetters collectively pledged $1,500,842 to United Way’s campaign supporting equity in Health, Education and Financial Stability for everyone in our community. This total represents a 27.5% increase over the same companies and agencies from their campaign efforts last year.
Heart of Missouri United Way is extremely grateful to this dedicated group!
