Local restaurants. Local celebrities. Local nonprofits benefit.
The third annual CoMo Chopped Competition hosted by Heart of Missouri United Way will bring together four local restaurants in support of the Mid-Missouri community.
Much like the TV show, chef teams will develop a unique dish to be submitted for the judges’ feedback. However, no team will be chopped from the competition, and the winning team is not determined solely by the judging panel. Rather, each team competes for one of three awards:
- Judges’ Choice – A panel of 3 prestigious local chefs will decide which chef team’s dish has the best flavor, creativity, and presentation overall.
- Community Vote – Each restaurant will sell their Chopped Dish as a menu item. The chef team with the highest number of Chopped Dishes sold between Oct 18-31st.
- Most Dollars Raised – Go to your favorite restaurant’s page to vote by donating to their United Way Chopped Facebook Campaign. The chef team with the most money raised at the end of the judging period on Oct. 31st wins.
CoMo Chopped aims to uplift and support these unique local restaurants, all while doing so in a way that raises money to improve the lives of those in need within our community.

The CoMo Chopped virtual event will be broadcasted on Heart of Missouri United Way’s Facebook page on Tuesday, October 18 at 7:00 p.m. CT.
Voting will run on Facebook from October 18 through October 31 at midnight CT. Winners will be announced November 1 at 5:30 p.m. through a live stream on Facebook
